Summer is almost over, but there’s one last big event. Millions come from miles around to Pigeon Forge to attend the Grand Fall Rod Run, one of the biggest car shows on the east coast. For car builders and enthusiasts alike, there is no other show that can top this ultra classic event. The rod dun is filled with all sorts of cars from Model T fords to brand spanking new models all suped up with custom features. This is a definite must see if your planning to visit Tennessee Smoky Mountains. The street will be literally filled with people and cars, making for endless hours of hot-rod exploration. But remember parking is going to be limited so bring your walking shoes and be prepared to be blown away. The Grand Fall Rod Run will be held September 11-14, but cars will be arriving up to a week before, and staying for a few days after.
